Leister VACUUM PLATE 300 for geomembrane and civil engineering seam testing. Available in 120V and 230V options. Designed to create a non-destructive vacuum seal which tests the tightness and strength of overlap seams. The vacuum strength can be regulated by adjusting the Vari-Flow valve which means that even thin membranes can be easily tested for leaks.

Description

Leister VACUUM PLATE 300 for Geomembrane seam testing

The Leister VACUUM PLATE 300 is designed for geomembrane and civil engineering seam testing; suitable for mining, landfills, water proofing and roofing applications. It is designed to create a non-destructive vacuum seal which tests the tightness and strength of overlap seams. The vacuum strength can be regulated by adjusting the Vari-Flow valve which means that even thin membranes can be easily tested for leaks.

In addition, the VACUUM PLATE 300 has an optimised construction height of 50 mm (approx. 2 inch) making it ideal for testing on uneven ground and also able to accommodate possible geomembrane lift up, which is often the case when testing thin membranes.

The VACUUM PLATE 300 also has a special 2 part sealing lip with one layer of harder rubber and an 2nd layer of softer rubber offer perfect sealing and long service life. It's also easily replaceable.

It has a Manometer Class of 1.6, meaning that the gauge is completely integrated into the housing and therefore fully protected.

Available in 120V (product code 169.579) and 230V (product code 169.580) options.

To test the seams, apply soapy water to the welded seam area, place the VACUUM PLATE 300 over the area to be tested and switch on the pump. Any leaks or defects in the seam will become apparent due to bubbles and/or the lack of consistent vacuum pressure.
