Motorised plastic pipe cutting saws by WIDOS have been developed for accurate perpendicular cutting of large diameter plastic pipe, specifically polyolefine pipe (mainly PE and PP), with walls up to 110mm thick and outside diameters of up to 3500mm.

WIDOS Motorised Chain-driven Plastic Pipe Cutting Circular Saws
The motorised saws by WIDOS have been developed for the accurate perpendicular cutting of large diameter plastic pipe, specifically polyolefine pipe (mainly PE and PP), with walls up to 110mm thick and outside diameters of up to 3500mm.
These plastic pipe cutting saws come in two models - Type 1 for pipe wall thicknesses up to 60 mm and Type 35 for pipe wall thicknesses up to 110 mm. Each saw is able to cut plastic pipe with outside diameters of up to 3500mm.
Each machine consists of motorized hand saw with guide carriage. Guide chains for specific pipe diameters up to 1600mm are available as detailed below. Guide chains for pipe diameters over 1600mm are available on request.
To connect the guide chains securely around the pipe you will also need to purchase a chain tensioner (product code 540110/W)
The following chains are available separately (all measurements OD):-
500mm, 560mm, 630mm, 710mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm
Other optional extras include the following:-
- chain tensioner
- spare saw blade (for type 1)
- spare saw blade (for type 35)
The correct sized tensioning chain is placed around the pipe and tightened by means of the chain tensioner. The guidance carriage and circular saw assembly is then connected to the guide chain.
After turning on the motor the saw is plunged into the pipe. The pipe is then cut by driving the saw carriage around the pipe.
The result is a quick, clean right-angled cut ready for jointing or joint preparation.

Where restricted postcodes are on the Mainland delivery will be:
£4.50 +VAT for items up to and including £100 (ex VAT)
